The Enleum HPA-23RM is a dedicated analogue headphone amplifier designed for both desktop and mobile listening. It provides separate current-drive and voltage-drive outputs rather than treating both headphone sockets as interchangeable.
Its discrete Ensence input stage feeds two different output circuits: a MOSFET voltage stage derived from the AMP-23R and a bipolar-transistor current stage descended from the HPA-21. Battery power and USB-C charging make it usable away from a fixed desktop system.
Before you connect
Connect an analogue line-level source to the RCA or 3.5 mm input; this is a headphone amplifier, not a USB DAC. The 6.35 mm socket is the current output and the 3.5 mm socket is the voltage output. Start with the volume low and select the output appropriate to your headphones. USB-C is used for charging or external power.
