Model & fit
Audio-Technica ATH-R70x is an open-back reference headphone built around 45 mm dynamic drivers and acoustically transparent aluminum honeycomb housings.
The design is unusually light for a full-size reference headphone, with breathable pads and Audio-Technica’s wing-support system intended for long listening sessions.
Before you connect
ATH-R70x has a 470 Ω nominal impedance, so amplifier headroom matters more than with many portable headphones. Its detachable dual-sided locking cable can connect to either earcup without changing left/right orientation.
