Model & connections
The TempoTec V3D is a digital audio transport for use with a separate DAC. USB, optical, coaxial and MINI AES outputs carry digital audio; this model has no analogue headphone output.
It supports local microSD playback alongside Bluetooth, AirPlay and DLNA. Model-level format support reaches PCM 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD256; the usable format depends on the selected connection and receiving equipment.
Before you connect
Connect a digital output to a compatible DAC input using the correct cable for that interface. Headphones need a DAC and headphone amplification downstream; they cannot connect directly to an analogue output on the V3D. A microSD playback slot does not establish the capacity or inclusion of a card in this unit.
