Model & driver design
Astell&Kern STELLA combines four driver technologies in each earpiece: one 9 mm dynamic driver, five balanced-armature drivers, two planar-magnetic drivers and four electrostatic tweeters.
A six-way crossover coordinates the driver groups. The housing design uses a 6061-T6 aluminium chassis with a sapphire-crystal faceplate panel and stainless-steel frame.
Before you connect
The model uses a 0.78 mm 2-pin earphone connector and specifies a 4.4 mm balanced factory cable termination. Match the fitted cable to your player’s balanced output and check connector fit before changing cables. Factory cable specifications describe the model; this unit’s included items remain as shown in the photos.
