The Cayin RU7 is a compact, USB-powered DAC and headphone amplifier built around a fully balanced discrete 1-bit DAC. It provides a portable wired audio connection between a compatible digital source and headphones.
Its All-to-DSD audio bridge offers selectable DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 processing. Separate 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced sockets accommodate different headphone connections, with high/low gain and onboard volume controls.
Before you connect
Connect the USB-C input to a host that supports USB audio and supplies adequate power. Use the correct 3.5 mm single-ended or 4.4 mm balanced headphone plug, select headphone-output mode and start at low volume. Windows playback may require Cayin's USB driver; Lightning devices require a compatible adapter. No unpictured adapter or software licence is promised.
